The Knightly News
Hello Knights,
Well, we made it thru another year and here we are. The Christmas party went well with a few members showing up that we have not seen in a while. Hollis won the model contest. He has picked the theme for next Christmas. It will be drag cars! Anything goes!! Only rule Hollis has set is that the drive wheels must have slicks! So ya'll keep that in mind.
Now for a sad note. Our good friend and long time member, Tim Waldron, has moved back to Ohio to be with his mother and sister. He has had a tough time lately. His father passed on, losing his job after 30 some years, and now dealing with his mothers health troubles. Tim, you will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you.
This past meeting went well. Some disscusion on our up coming show. Robin has our flyers ready. They look great!! Good job. We had a few projects show up. Robin took photos of all. Good work guys. We talked of having a swap meet-cookout. We are open for dates in April - June. Voice your vote at the next meeting or on the message board.
The Salisbury swap meet is coming up. It is Feb. 17 (Sat.) . Lets make a good showing. Everyone wear your shirts. We talked about, after the show, we can all go up the road a small piece to the transportation museum in Spensor to check things out. This is a really cool place.
Well, thats is about it for this letter. Do not forget the build night 1/18/07. Dues are due at the next meeting! See ya there. Later......
